Cookie Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how BoostSpark Pte. Ltd. ("BoostSpark", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies on boostspark.pro. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the site after interacting with our cookie banner, you consent to cookies as described here subject to the choices you make.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, maintain security and understand usage patterns. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage and pixel tags. In this policy, "cookies" refers to cookies and comparable browser storage mechanisms.
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories: essential, analytics and marketing. Essential cookies are required for basic site operation. Analytics cookies help us understand aggregated traffic patterns. Marketing cookies, if enabled, may support remarketing or campaign measurement — we use these only with your consent.
4. Cookie categories and durations
4.1 Essential cookies
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They include cookie consent preference storage (local storage key: bs_cookie_consent) which remembers your Accept, Reject or Customise choice for six months. Without essential storage, the cookie banner would appear on every visit and form security features may be impaired.
- bs_cookie_consent — local storage — 6 months — stores your cookie preference object
- Session identifiers — session — server security and form processing where applicable
4.2 Analytics cookies (consent required)
If you accept analytics cookies via our banner, we may deploy tools that collect anonymised or pseudonymised usage data — pages visited, time on site, referral source and device type. We use this data in aggregate to improve site structure and content. Analytics cookies are not set if you reject or disable analytics in Customise mode.
- Analytics session identifiers — duration varies by vendor configuration — typically up to 24 months — only set with consent
4.3 Marketing cookies (consent required)
Marketing cookies, if enabled, may track visits to support advertising measurement or remarketing on third-party platforms. BoostSpark uses marketing cookies sparingly and only with explicit consent. Rejecting marketing cookies does not affect site functionality.
5. Third-party cookies — Google Maps
Google Maps is embedded on every page of boostspark.pro via an iframe showing our studio address at 128 Beach Road, Guoco Midtown, Singapore 189773. When any page loads, the browser requests map resources from Google's servers. Google may set cookies and collect data including IP address, device information, approximate location and interaction with the map interface.
These cookies are controlled by Google, not BoostSpark. They may persist according to Google's policies and may be classified as functional or analytics cookies depending on Google's configuration. Because the map appears site-wide — on the home page, programme pages, contact page, legal pages and error pages — Google third-party cookies may be triggered regardless of which page you visit.
We include Google Maps to help visitors locate our studio. We do not use Google Maps data to identify individual visitors on our own systems. For details on Google's practices, refer to Google's privacy documentation.
6. Managing your preferences
When you first visit boostspark.pro, a cookie banner offers three options:
- Accept all — enables essential, analytics and marketing cookies
- Reject all — enables essential cookies only
- Customise — choose analytics and marketing individually; essential always active
Your choice is stored locally for six months, after which the banner reappears. To change preferences before expiry, clear site data for boostspark.pro in your browser or delete local storage for the domain — the banner will show on your next visit.
You can also manage cookies through browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies, delete existing cookies or receive alerts before cookies are set. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent Google Maps from rendering correctly while other page content remains accessible.
7. Browser-specific guidance
Consult your browser's help documentation for cookie controls. Common paths include Settings → Privacy → Cookies (Chrome), Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies (Firefox), and Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data (Safari). Mobile browsers offer similar controls in their settings menus.
8. Do Not Track
Some browsers send Do Not Track signals. There is no universal standard for responding to DNT. We honour cookie consent choices made through our banner regardless of DNT settings.
9. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change site technology, add vendors or update legal requirements. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Material changes are published on this page.
